About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing preventative maintenance on various mechanical equipment, including HVAC systems, chillers, condensers, VAVs, pumps, water fountains, hot water heaters, and fans. The technician will also be responsible for replacing filters, belts, and other components as needed. Additionally, the role includes tasks related to electrical systems such as lighting, ballasts, outlets, and switches, as well as plumbing repairs and installations for faucets, toilets, sinks, and water heaters. The position requires excellent communication skills to interact with customers and the ability to complete work requests daily. Immediate interviews are available.

Requirements

• 2 years of field HVAC experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to pass an MVR check.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must be on a 24/7 on-call rotation shared with other technicians.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Highly motivated and skilled.
• Ability to operate a smartphone and tablet.
• Ability to work with hand tools and equipment related to the job.
• Ability to read a meter and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC preventative maintenance on chillers, condensers, VAVs, pumps, water fountains, hot water heaters, fans, and other mechanical equipment.
• Replace filters, belts, and other components as needed.
• Replace, install, and service lighting, ballasts, outlets, and switches.
• Repair, install, and service plumbing fixtures such as faucets, toilets, sinks, and water heaters.
• Communicate with customers.
• Complete work requests daily.
• Operate smartphone and tablet.
• Work with hand tools and equipment related to the job.
• Read meters and schematics.
