About The Position

This position will be responsible for performing service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, interior finishes, and appliance servicing while maintaining a safe and friendly environment. The Preventative Maintenance Technician is not limited to the above-mentioned job description and may be requested to do additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or G.E.D. certificate
• 1-3 years of experience as a Preventative Maintenance Tech or similar skilled trade
• Proficient skills in painting, tile, plumbing, carpentry and electrical
• Knowledge of hand and power tools and a mechanical aptitude.
• Must meet the requirements to receive a company driving permit (Age 21 or older, Acceptable driving record, Valid State Issued Driver’s License, and Acceptable Drug Screen Results)
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow written instruction

Nice To Haves

• Maintenance experience with a resort and/or hotel experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Works in a team environment in a primary response role to complete maintenance inspections, repairs, and preparation of guest units.
• Assist with preventative maintenance duties and repairs throughout the resort common areas.
• Assist guests and staff in the resolution of unit maintenance concerns, complaints, and questions.
• Drive between MasterCorp sites within the day to perform duties.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
