Requirements
- Proficiency in diesel vehicle diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repair
- Basic tool set (Tool Allowance Provided!)
Nice To Haves
- Hydraulic experience is a plus
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and professionalism
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs, inspections, and diagnostics on diesel vehicles, including electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
- Utilize vehicle computer electrical systems to interpret failure modes and adjust engine and vehicle control modules
- Respond to road calls for emergency repairs
- Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Complete required paperwork using fleet maintenance software
- Test drive trucks after services and repairs
- Assist team members with repairs as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean work area in compliance with OSHA and company standards
