With good pay, extensive benefits, and a family atmosphere, we are looking for an individual to join the existing Preventative Maintenance team to service a variety of areas of within the resort.

Requirements

  • Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
  • Ability to accurately report information.
  • Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
  • Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
  • Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
  • Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
  • Conducts him/herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times.
  • Understands and communicates the Driftwood Mission.
  • Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
  • Actively listens to others.
  • Must have a Missouri Class E driver’s license.
  • Must have good mathematical and computer skills.
  • Minimum lifting/pulling of 50 pounds.
  • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
  • Hearing, writing, typing.

Nice To Haves

  • High school education and relevant training and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of routine tasks to help ensure the resort remains safe, functional, and well-maintained at all times.
  • May often be working in guest areas so a professional and thorough work ethic is required.
  • Assist with maintaining hotel guest rooms, meeting space, public / back of house areas, performing minor and routine maintenance activities as assigned on a routine checklist.
  • Maintain standards of quality guest service.
  • Scrupulously adhere to all safety standards.
  • Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development.
  • Promptly respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Assist in logging and tracking all performed maintenance assignments with supervisors.
