About The Position

The schedule for this position is Friday & Saturday 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. This is subject to change due to maintaining the efficiency of governmental operations. This position is located at Polk County Jail. Fifth District, Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated, skilled Pretrial Interviewer.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school, GED, or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for court and initial appearances by researching criminal history databases.
• Manage cases and complete documentation including release paperwork, client notes, client communications, and relaying information with officers.
• Appear in court to present verbal recommendations to judge, sign defendants to supervision, and explain conditions of release.
