Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ Years Manufacturing/Warehouse experience required.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent Mechanical Skills
  • Punctual and Reliable.
  • Able to work with a manual and electric pallet jack.
  • Able to bend, twist, and kneel.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Narrow Web Printing Industry preferred.
  • Vocational/technical school training preferred.
  • Ability to use forklift is a positive, but not mandatory.
  • Previous related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Staging raw material, ink, and tooling to each Flexo Press.
  • Assisting the press operator to ensure the make-ready process is completed efficiently.
  • Returning leftover material and tooling to their designated locations.
  • Maintaining raw material inventory using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedure.
  • Interacting with shipping and receiving departments for inventory control.
  • Helping to maintain production tooling, including dies, perforations, magazines, print cylinders, and anilox inventory.
  • Assisting in maintaining pressroom cleanliness and organization.
  • Supporting finishing needs as directed by the supervisor.
  • Mounting plates.
  • Mixing ink (responsible for Ink Technician duties).
  • Collaborating with ink vendors and training press operators on good ink management techniques.
  • Working with maintenance to ensure all components function properly.
