Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED - minimum
  • Basic computer skills
  • Demonstrated basic math skills
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions in English
  • 2 Years manufacturing experience
  • Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in an assembly / manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to conduct basic maintenance or mechanical activities as required.

Responsibilities

  • Pack components produced from the press.
  • Sort, fill, package, and palletize product according to packaging specifications.
  • Accurately, efficiently, and proactively perform daily duties.
  • Load coils as required from cradle to reel.
  • Feed strip of material up to the feeder to be readied for production.
  • During a press changeover, move all equipment back to storage locations.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly station, prioritizing 5-S principles.
  • Keep incoming empty containers in proper locations.
  • Report all Quality, Production, or Safety problems to the Team Lead.
  • Ensure finished product is labeled and staged for Material Handler pick-up.
  • Write and follow-up on Work Orders as needed for repairs in the assigned area.
  • Understand and follow all safety rules.
