About The Position

The Press Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently performing the layup and lamination of CLT panels, consistently meeting production targets and producing high-quality products in accordance with work orders and schedules. Shift differential pay offered.

Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude.
Proficient with basic math skills.
Proficient with use of tape measures and other basic tools.
Basic computer skills.
Strong written and verbal communicator
Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds & being on feet for most of the day.
Well organized, creative problem solver, and maintains a positive attitude.
Capable of operating effectively during periods of high stress with aggressive deadlines.
Self-motivated and capable of operating with minimal supervision.
Reliable individual with an excellent time and attendance record.
High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Perform start-up check list and glue calibration at the beginning of shift
Uses Zoho production software to determine recipe and material requirements
Sets LEDINEK HMI to necessary parameters for the next panels to be pressed
Verify LL and CL provided meet ZOHO production list dimensions and quantities
Inspect Lamellas for before pressing, confirming orientation is correct and no debris exists
When finished pressing, update ZOHO Kanban and drag Product # to CNC Queue
Maintains good communication with production supervisor to report on progress and understand production priorities.
Follows SOPs and guidelines for safe operation of the press and related equipment
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Maintains a safe and clean workspace
Frequently inspects machine and equipment to ensure operational readiness and ability to produce high-quality panels.
