This role involves working from blueprints, route sheets, and written instructions to produce high-quality components, demonstrating strong attention to detail in every step of the process. The operator will set up and run hydraulic and mechanical presses ranging from 150 tons to 1,200 tons, ensuring safe and precise operation. Performing rubber-to-metal stamping is also part of the role, with training provided for the right candidate. Work will involve various materials, including Inconel (Inco), AM350, and titanium strip stock with thicknesses ranging from .001" to .008", maintaining accuracy and consistency. The operator will perform set-ups (or request assistance for complex set-ups) and conduct in-process inspections per ES Specifications to ensure all parts meet dimensional and quality requirements. Maintaining set-ups and making minor adjustments as needed, escalating unusual issues to the supervisor, is also expected. Verifying product quality using quantitative charting methods such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and a range of precision measuring tools, including contour readers and non-contact measuring systems, with meticulous attention to detail, is crucial. Basic computer skills are needed to perform labor transactions and other required system functions with accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Prior experience in manufacturing or quality preferred, but not necessary - we'll train you!
Access to our facilities is restricted under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to U.S. Persons (U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, U.S. Nationals, U.S. refugees, asylees, or temporary residents under amnesty provisions ), and to properly licensed foreign persons.
