About The Position

This position is located in Rogers, AR, and operates on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 3 pm to 11:30 pm.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
1+ years of manufacturing experience required.
Commitment to working safely and understanding all safety procedures.
Ability to handle deviations in routine according to operating procedures and/or work instructions.
Responsibility for following the Press Data Sheet, assuring product is processed according to proper routings and specifications, and that quantity and style are correct.
Must be reliable and dependable.
US Citizen or US Permanent Resident status required.

Nice To Haves

2 year technical degree preferred.
Experience with CNC or PLC machine controls preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate multiple CNC Carbide Presses, including Dorst, Osterwalder, or PCT machines.
Perform computer-controlled setups and make adjustments to CNC programs.
Load and unload trays from multiple presses.
Gage parts to ensure proper dimensions and scope parts to verify visual characteristics.
Select and weigh Tungsten powder for pressing into green parts.
Separate scrap from good parts and document accurately.
Scan correct production information in Mii.
Maintain and resurface tooling used in machines as needed.
Operate other equipment as required.
Train new operators.
Troubleshoot moderate to complex problems.
Perform Quality Checks per the Quality Inspection plan, verifying powder and lot, and ensuring tooling matches the production order and press information sheet.
Work to meet daily departmental production goals.
Communicate safety, quality, and product issues with supervisors, team members, and across shifts.
