About The Position

This position is located in Rogers, AR, and operates on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 3 pm to 11:30 pm.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience required.
  • Commitment to working safely and understanding all safety procedures.
  • Ability to handle deviations in routine according to operating procedures and/or work instructions.
  • Responsibility for following the Press Data Sheet, assuring product is processed according to proper routings and specifications, and that quantity and style are correct.
  • Must be reliable and dependable.
  • US Citizen or US Permanent Resident status required.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 year technical degree preferred.
  • Experience with CNC or PLC machine controls preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate multiple CNC Carbide Presses, including Dorst, Osterwalder, or PCT machines.
  • Perform computer-controlled setups and make adjustments to CNC programs.
  • Load and unload trays from multiple presses.
  • Gage parts to ensure proper dimensions and scope parts to verify visual characteristics.
  • Select and weigh Tungsten powder for pressing into green parts.
  • Separate scrap from good parts and document accurately.
  • Scan correct production information in Mii.
  • Maintain and resurface tooling used in machines as needed.
  • Operate other equipment as required.
  • Train new operators.
  • Troubleshoot moderate to complex problems.
  • Perform Quality Checks per the Quality Inspection plan, verifying powder and lot, and ensuring tooling matches the production order and press information sheet.
  • Work to meet daily departmental production goals.
  • Communicate safety, quality, and product issues with supervisors, team members, and across shifts.
