About The Position

The Press Operator is responsible for running and producing production parts on various production type stamping presses. This role involves operating industrial equipment and machinery such as deep draw presses, blank lines, and wax & wash lines according to established operator instructions. The operator will place production parts into the machine, cycle the equipment, and retrieve the part for placement onto a conveyor line, trough, basket, or box. Employees may cycle equipment manually or through continuous/automatic modes. A key responsibility is visually inspecting parts per specific operator instructions. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to understand or comprehend written and oral instructions.
• Ability to grasp, hold, place, and safely retrieve stock/part while working at a productive pace.
• Knowledge and proper use of any necessary safety equipment, work aids, tools or personal protection equipment.
• Capable of operating various manufacturing equipment such as lathes (Omeras, Acme, Beatty), presses, and gages (Plug Gages, Ring Gages, Go/No Go Gages, Thread Gages).
• Regular attendance is required.
• Must be able to work any shift.
• Overtime is mandatory when business conditions require additional hours.

Nice To Haves

• Previous stamping press experience helpful but not mandatory.
