Press Maintenance - 1st Shift
About The Position
This role is responsible for performing repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery to maximize efficiency and quality of production. The position requires a working knowledge of hand tools and injection molding machines, as well as the ability to maintain updated status on the preventative maintenance program and required inventories. The Press Maintenance role also participates in cost reduction initiatives, adheres to lock out/tag out procedures, and operates various assembly and production equipment. The individual will read and follow work instructions, ISO standards, and safety procedures, completing necessary forms and reports. Flexibility in job assignments, adaptability to changing business needs, and a commitment to continuous learning are essential. The role also involves training others and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Possesses working knowledge of hand tools and injection molding machines.
- One year certificate from college or technical school, or six to 12 months related experience and training.
- High mechanical aptitude necessary.
- Ability to work in a safe, efficient, and many times independent manner required.
- Basic electrical, plumbing and hydraulic knowledge and skills required.

- Able to rotate into other departments to perform similar tasks as needed.
- Works with co-workers in a safe, professional, and cooperative manner.
- Maintains good attendance, flexibility in job assignments, adaptable to changing business needs, and continually learns and applies new skills.
