About The Position

This role involves assisting the 1st Press Operator in the setup of the delivery end of the press during make-ready, based on work order instructions. The Press Jogger is responsible for maintaining a clean work area, monitoring for defects or press-related issues to ensure quality, and performing other tasks as directed by the Press Operator, 2nd Press Operator, or Shift Supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to understand written and mostly verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform basic manual actions with minimal but potentially repetitive effort.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting.
• Comfortable working with printing ink and grease.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic PC skills.
• Ability to lift 40-50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the set-up of the delivery end of the press during make-ready, following instructions from the work order form and the 1st Press Operator.
• Clean and maintain a neat and orderly immediate work area.
• Monitor for defects or press-caused issues to maintain good quality.
• Perform other tasks as requested or needed by the Press Operator, 2nd Press Operator, or Shift Supervisor.
