Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be quality minded and pay attention to detail
• Must have a good work and attendance record
• Basic computer skills
• Mathematical skills necessary to compute percentages, weights, and measures
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operator in all duties required for the operation of the offset press, to include assurance of quality of printed image and accurate registration.
• Independently read job tickets to understand specifications and consistently ensure plates and paper are staged for the next job.
• Independently read and understand job tickets
• Identify correct weight, brand, and finish of paper
• Hang proper plates according to job ticket
• Maintain clean press and work area
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot roll and skid feeders
• Enter time, materials, and costs into computer system
