Requirements

• Ability to review work orders or receive verbal instructions.
• Proficiency in using hand tools for press setup.
• Ability to keep the press supplied with paper stock.
• Ability to pour ink into reservoirs and maintain the ink agitator.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas.
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders or receive verbal instructions to determine ink, stock, and equipment needed for production.
• Assist press operator with press set up, including hanging plates and blankets on press cylinders using hand tools.
• Keep the press supplied with high-quality paper stock.
• Pour ink into printing unit reservoirs and maintain the ink agitator.
• Remove loaded pallets of printed material from the stacking mechanism using a pallet jack and replace with empty pallets.
• Periodically assist with preventative maintenance duties.
• Pay close attention to small details throughout the process.
• Clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
