About The Position

DCG ONE is one of the largest privately held marketing service providers in the country. Based in Seattle, with locations in NYC and Maryland, we help companies deliver their brand worldwide through creative, print, and fulfillment services. The Press Feeder feeds paper into our sheet-fed presses and supports the Press Operator as needed. We’re looking for someone mechanically inclined and with experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. If you’re looking to learn new skills and are a team player, please apply!

Requirements

2+ years of experience in print production or a similar role requiring mechanical skills.
Knowledge of printing presses preferred.
Demonstrated ability to have reliable and predictable attendance.
Exceptional Coordination and multitasking skills

Responsibilities

Interact with the press schedule and job tickets.
Interact with pressroom clients in a professional manner.
Produce quality print most efficiently.
Follow pressroom procedures for control sheets, charging time & material, load tags, FSC stock, and samples.
Perform the necessary maintenance on the presses.
Maintain the presses, pressroom, work area, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per the P.M. charts.
Use and maintain the Image Control unit.
Proactively identify and solve problems before they arise.
Use basic computer skills.
