Requirements

Must demonstrate the ability to safely lift to 100 lbs. on a repetitive basis,with a partner.
The ability to work any shift is required.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 1 years Manufacturing Experience desirable.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in Extrusion Operation preferred.
Knowledge of extrusion process and quality measures preferred.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with AS400 system a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the productive and efficient operation of the extrusion press.
Responsible for Quality and Quantity of material being produced on the extrusion press.
Responsible for monitoring and controlling the Log Furnace.
Responsible for monitoring and operating the Log Shear.
Responsible for monitoring and operating the Extrusion Press.
Responsible for monitoring and operating the Extrusion Puller System.
Responsible for the control of the Extrusion Cooling Process.
Responsible for monitoring and operating the Extrusion Handling System.
Responsible for the computer set-up and monitoring of the extrusion press system.
Responsible for quality checks of the extruded material.
Responsible for housekeeping around the press operation area.
