About The Position

The Press Brake and Roll position is responsible for the quality of work, productivity, attendance/punctuality, safety, flexibility, working without supervision, and general housekeeping. This is a 3rd shift position. The employee will have the ability to perform forming operations with Press Brakes and Rolls on carbon and stainless-steel materials per print. The employee will have the skills for selecting and setting up proper tooling. Must be able to perform quality measurements to ensure product is dimensionally correct and sign-off on the finished part specifications. Perform routine machine set-up and maintenance. General understanding of manufacturing principles and procedures. Read and interpret blueprints, lists of materials and routers. Must be able to operate the overhead crane and all other lifting devices and tools including a fork truck. Responsible for tagging and labeling of materials and parts. Perform other tasks as required by the supervisor.

Requirements

General math skills.
Read and interpret blueprints, lists of materials and routers.
Must be able to operate the overhead crane and all other lifting devices and tools including a fork truck.
Responsible for tagging and labeling of materials and parts.
Two to three years’ minimum experience in a manufacturing environment, and setting up and operating press break equipment.
The employee will supply all the basic tools required to perform the above operations.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Laser and Shear roll operations is a plus.
Experience with laser, shear or rolling operations.
