About The Position

CloudRay, a staffing partner with over 25 years of experience, is seeking a Press Brake Operator (Machinist) for their client in Huntsville, AL. This is a temp-to-hire position with an immediate opening. The role involves setting up, operating, and performing basic programming on machines used in the production of hollow metal doors. Workstations may include equipment for bending, notching, punching, forming, or straightening frame parts. While Press Brake experience is preferred, the client will train the right candidate.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of prior manufacturing experience required.
• Must pass a measurement test down to 1/16 inch.
• Basic math, computer, and fraction/decimal conversion skills required.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Steel-toe boots required.
• Must pass background check (No drug screening required).

Nice To Haves

• Press Brake experience is preferred.
• Forklift use may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machines according to preventative maintenance procedures.
• Follow job orders and daily travelers to meet customer specifications.
• Identify and assemble door components as outlined in the SDI handbook.
• Record production and quality data, making adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Support company goals by performing additional duties as assigned.
• Participate in the company Safety Program.
• Train on multiple machining workstations as proficiency increases.
