About The Position

Seeking a skilled Press Brake/Metal Fabricator to join our growing production team. This position is ideal for a mid-level operator who can independently set up, program, and operate press brake equipment while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.

Requirements

3+ years of press brake operation experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Strong ability to read blueprints and understand basic GD&T
Proficiency using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
Solid math skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving ability.
Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up, program, and operate CNC and/or hydraulic press brakes to form metal parts to specification.
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work instructions.
Select appropriate tooling, calculate bend allowances, and verify first-article accuracy.
Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools.
Troubleshoot setup, tooling, or quality issues and make adjustments as needed.
Safely load and unload materials using proper lifting techniques or material-handling equipment.
Maintain production efficiency while meeting quality and delivery requirements.
Follow all safety policies and procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to meet production goals.
Assist with training or mentoring entry-level operators, as needed.
Run other shop equipment as needed to support operations.
