About The Position

Robinson, Inc. is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves using computer numeric controlled (CNC) press brakes to precisely bend and shape metal parts and tools. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using hand tools, tape measures, performing decimal and metric conversions, and operating overhead cranes and forklifts. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measuring tools
Willingness to support other departments as needed
Ability to maintain consistent work output
Capable of interpreting verbal and written instructions

Nice To Haves

Technical degree preferred
Experience with cross-training and flexibility in job functions
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with forklifts and hand tools

Responsibilities

Operate press brake machinery to bend and form metal components
Work in a fast-paced environment while following instructions and maintaining self-motivation
Perform accurate measurements using tape measures, calipers, and other tools
Read and interpret blueprints, including calculating bend allowances
Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with team members
Verify materials before use and report issues promptly
Routinely lift 40–50 lbs; occasionally up to 90 lbs
Stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
