About The Position
The Press Brake Operator is responsible for producing high-precision parts, holding tolerances to +/- 0.0001 inches according to blueprints. This role operates in a shop environment that can be hot, cold, dusty, and noisy. The operator must be able to read sheet metal blueprints, perform basic shop math, and use precision measuring equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sheet metal fabrication
- Proficient in the use of a Press Brake
- Frequent and continuous light to moderate lifting, repetitive handling and maneuvering
- Walking, reaching, bending, and good eye, hand, foot coordination
- Energetic self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
- Capable of following tasks through to completion
- Self-disciplined, highly organized, goal-oriented
- Ability to multitask with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with abilities to work independently and collaboratively
- Fluent in English
- Must pass a background check and drug test
