About The Position

We are hiring a Press Brake Operator to join a metal fabrication and manufacturing team in Dover, PA. This is a hands-on production position responsible for operating press brake equipment to bend and form metal parts according to job specifications. Previous press brake experience is preferred and may qualify candidates for pay up to $20.00 per hour. Candidates without direct press brake experience may also be considered at the entry-level rate of $18.00 per hour. This opportunity may be a good fit for someone with experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, machine operation, or other hands-on production work who is interested in developing press brake and metal forming skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous press brake experience is preferred but not required
  • Candidates with manufacturing, machine operation, sheet metal, or metal fabrication experience are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal components
  • Position metal parts and materials correctly for forming operations
  • Produce bends and formed parts according to job requirements and specifications
  • Make necessary machine and setup adjustments to maintain part accuracy
  • Read and follow work orders, drawings, and production instructions
  • Inspect formed parts for proper dimensions, angles, and overall quality
  • Use basic measuring and inspection tools to check completed work
  • Identify and report quality, material, tooling, or equipment issues
  • Handle fabricated metal parts safely throughout the production process
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow established manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures
  • Work with other members of the fabrication and production team to meet production needs
