Press Brake Operator - Compumeric
About The Position
Working under the general direction of the supervisor or lead person, performs a wide variety of duties associated with metal fabrication equipment mainly in the press brake area. This position offers a pay of $20.00 per hour, with opportunities for overtime based on business needs. This position operates on a Monday–Friday schedule. Employees may be assigned to one of the following shifts based on operational and business needs: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM. Shift assignment will be determined based on company needs and may be discussed at the time of hire.
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing experience (Production).
- Knowledge of basic math skills.
- Basic to operate CNC machine screen.
- Measurement skills
Nice To Haves
- Press brake experience is highly desirable.
- Blueprint and drawings readings desirable
Responsibilities
- Reads and interprets blueprints.
- Understands how to safely operate powered hand tools.
- Demonstrated ability with precision measurement equipment
- Capable of equipment adjustment
- Ability to load and position parts.
- Maintains area hygiene above industry standards.
- Develop and maintain solid employee morale and safety awareness.
- Adheres to safety and environmental rules.
- Performs general housekeeping.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
