About The Position

Manufacture precision metal components using a press brake and other fabrication equipment while ensuring quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. This role involves reviewing production schedules, determining appropriate equipment and processes, setting up and operating machinery, performing quality checks, and preparing finished products for shipment. The position also requires creating and verifying flat patterns, assisting programmers, and communicating with customers and internal teams regarding product specifications.

Requirements

  • At least six years of CNC press brake operating experience.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading.
  • Proficiency in part layout.
  • Proficiency in flat-pattern calculations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with others.
  • Excellent work ethic, reliability, and consistent attendance.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening, including THC, in accordance with federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Review production schedules and inventory to prioritize daily work based on tooling requirements, machine setups, and delivery deadlines.
  • Determine the appropriate equipment and processes required for each job, including bending, drilling, countersinking, and tapping operations.
  • Design, fabricate, and modify specialized tooling to support unique or custom production requirements.
  • Set up and operate press brake machines and other equipment to produce parts according to specifications.
  • Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure products meet customer and company quality standards.
  • Route completed parts to the next stage of production in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Palletize, package, and prepare finished products for movement, storage, or shipment as required.
  • Create and verify flat patterns to ensure accurate part development and fabrication.
  • Assist programmers with troubleshooting, process improvements, and production support as needed.
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding product discrepancies, errors, or clarification of specifications when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to company safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Perform other necessary duties and tasks as requested.
