About The Position

Processes quality products safely and efficiently by setting up, operating and performing simple programming of a press brake. 2nd Shift Hours: 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., with availability to work overtime as needed.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
Must be able to read and comprehend written instructions.
Ability to understand and use basic math for measurements and calculations.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of using measuring devices.
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
Ability to read and understand work orders.
Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility.
Demonstrated reliable work history.
Must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality in all tasks.

Responsibilities

Prepare production equipment for operation by making necessary setup adjustments and assisting with equipment changeovers.
Maintain quality standards and customer specifications by conducting first-piece and in-process inspections, completing production control charts, analyzing data, and making equipment adjustments as needed.
Assist in training others for production job responsibilities by demonstrating operational procedures and best practices.
Solve production process problems, make equipment adjustments, and report production and quality data. Communicate decisions made and refer questions to the supervisor as necessary.
Follow policies and procedures to maintain production operations, including managing equipment, raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods. Report needed changes.
Ensure the proper operation of equipment by adhering to preventative maintenance policies and procedures. Report needed changes and repairs.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contribute to the team effort by achieving related results, cooperating with team members, and accepting re-assignments as directed by supervisors.
Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals and team objectives.
