About The Position
The person in this position assists the Press Operator in all areas of operation of the printing press.
Requirements
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
- Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
- Perform general maintenance on equipment
- Responsible for loading of paper into press
- Maintain ink and water levels
- Operate feeder
- Wash up press, and play an active role in the cleanliness of the assigned equipment and surrounding area
- Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
- Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives
