About The Position

ProAmpac is hiring a Press Assistant to support press operations in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. The role assists with machine setup and preparation, monitors press operations, may temporarily operate the machine during shift changes or as needed, and helps with routine maintenance and troubleshooting. The employee is expected to support quality, efficiency, and safety standards. No experience is required; manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with machine setup by preparing tools, mounting and demounting plates, preparing and loading raw materials, and adjusting settings as directed by the primary operator.
Observe press machine operations and notify the primary operator or supervisor of issues or malfunctions.
Temporarily run the machine during shift changes or as necessary.
Assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting to support proper machine operation and maintain quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
