Scecina Memorial High School, an archdiocesan parochial Catholic high school serving grades 9-12, is seeking a President to begin between July 1, 2026, and January 1, 2027. Located on the eastside of Indianapolis, the school is a co-educational Catholic college and life preparatory institution dedicated to motivating its diverse and gifted community towards educational excellence, lifelong learning, and servant leadership, inspired by Father Thomas Scecina. The school is accredited by the State of Indiana and Lumen Accreditation at the Catholic University of America. Established in 1953 by the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, Scecina Memorial High School serves over 400 diverse students, with 80% participating in 24 IHSAA sports. It maintains a student-teacher ratio of 10:1 and an average class size of 18. Named after World War II army chaplain Fr. Thomas Scecina, the school was awarded the 2024 Indiana Purple Star School designation for its dedication to serving students with military-connected parents. The President serves as the chief executive responsible for the institution's operational vitality, including development/advancement, marketing/enrollment, finances, and capital projects. This role involves leading and articulating the school's mission and vision, creating and implementing strategic plans, and building and nurturing relationships. The President reports to and is evaluated by the Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the archdiocese, with input from the board of directors.
