About The Position

The President of the Security Operations Division, aka Kellington Protection, is responsible for the leadership, compliance and profitability of their division. This individual is committed to ethically driving and delivering on the company's mission to provide world-class security solutions and services. The President oversees all aspects of the business, ensuring strategic growth and profitability without compromising Sciath’s values and maintaining client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Integrity: High ethical standards and moral character, with a commitment to ethical business practices.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of effective leadership, including experience in strategic planning, financial management, and team development.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in security, law enforcement, or related industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in either Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field
  • In-depth understanding of the security industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and lead the company through periods of growth and transition.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute the SOD’s long‑term strategic plan, mission, and growth objectives to coincide with and complement the Company’s strategic plan.
  • Identify, pursue and capture new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand volume, service offerings and customer base.
  • Ensure the organization remains competitive within the security industry through innovation, training, and continuous improvement.
  • Direct and oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring efficiency, accountability, and high service standards.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to attain and maintain excellence and measure operational achievements.
  • Ensure all security personnel meet company and regulatory standards, including licensing, training, and compliance requirements.
  • Own the division’s financial performance, including revenue growth, gross margin, EBITDA, operating cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategy, and expense management.
  • Cost control and avoidance through consistent and recurring evaluation and approval of all major expenditures, contracts, subcontracts, overtime and procurement activities.
  • Timely and accurate billing and collections of accounts receivables.
  • Negotiate fiscally responsible terms in collective bargaining agreements.
  • Maximize revenue opportunities by successfully executing all available hours.
  • Work closely with finance teams to monitor revenue, expenses, and operational costs.
  • Provide leadership and direction for recruiting strategies to meet contractual obligations while minimizing overtime, turnover, and vacant positions.
  • Ensure hiring processes meet legal, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Support leadership teams in developing training programs, advancement pathways, and retention strategies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Lead high‑level client meetings, contract negotiations, and service reviews.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and responsive problem‑solving.
  • Ensure contract performance meets all customer requirements, regulatory obligations, and company quality standards.
  • Oversee risk management strategies, incident response protocols, and internal audits.
  • Maintain high ethical standards and ensure company policies reflect professionalism and integrity.
  • Be a role model that subordinates, peers and superiors wish to emulate.
