About The Position

The Presentation Strategist is a trusted creative partner to the Conference, Events and Experiences (CEE) senior leadership and is skilled at drawing out executive thinking, shaping organizational messaging, and translating both into powerful visual narratives. This role serves as the department's center of excellence for high-impact communications, with a particular focus on executive briefings, board-level deliverables, and event materials that are clear, persuasive, and authentically reflect leadership's voice and strategic intent. Beyond production, this role functions as a strategic advisor and intake gatekeeper—evaluating incoming presentation and speech requests for relevancy, leadership alignment, and organizational impact before CEE resources are committed. The ideal candidate is as comfortable in a conversation with an executive refining their message as they are at a design canvas bringing that message to life. All work produced by this role directly supports the strategic priorities of Conferences, Events and Experiences (CEE) and the Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE), ensuring that visual communications reinforce—and visibly align with—the goals, tone, and direction established by both entities. Given the technical depth and professional prestige of the IEEE audience, the Presentation Strategist must demonstrate particular skill in making complex, specialized content accessible and compelling without sacrificing rigor or credibility. This role also serves as a steward of the organization's visual identity, maintaining strict adherence to brand standards across every deliverable.
