About The Position

The Presentation Designer, Business Marketing will help build and maintain OpenAI’s brand identity and ensure a consistent, impactful presence inside the company and to the world. The role connects product development, communications, and marketing through cohesive storytelling and brand representation. It focuses on explaining advances and benefits of AI beautifully, accessibly, transparently, and authentically.

The designer will develop and refine presentations for major OpenAI events and support leadership and sales teams. They will create and maintain presentation design systems and templates accessible to teams across OpenAI, and explore innovative motion and interactive elements. The role also involves creating intelligent, concept-driven, aesthetically appealing visuals that make complex technology understandable and engaging.

The designer will collaborate with designers and colleagues across creative, research, product, marketing, and engineering teams to support effective, cohesive visual communication for a global audience. This is an opportunity to contribute to prominent projects and influence how a leading AI research and deployment company is represented.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in visual design, focused on presentation design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating engaging and innovative presentations.
• Proficiency in Keynote, Google Slides, and other relevant design software.
• Experience developing and managing design systems and templates.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Ability to balance stakeholder needs and simplify complex ideas into compelling concepts.
• Appreciation for aesthetics, user experience, and the ethical aspects of design in AI.
• Detail-oriented and process-driven from concept through final output.
• Ability to inspire and sustain a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine presentation designs for major OpenAI events.
