About The Position

This role involves providing evidence-based treatment via live video appointments, conducting psychiatric evaluations, and offering medication management. Lyra facilitates referrals to therapy and coaching services. The role requires providing care to children, teens, and young adults from diverse backgrounds, with an emphasis on culturally responsive care.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited (CCNE) Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program; OR graduate from an accredited PA program (ARC-PA) with certification through PANCE with preference for Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry, post-graduate fellowship in psychiatry, or other academic psychiatry certificate program completion, including a Doctor of Medical Science with Psychiatry concentration
• Unrestricted state license
• A minimum of 2 years in practice
• Must have office space with ability to see clients in Reading
• Ability to provide care to patients with a full range of diagnoses, clinical complexity, and severity levels
• Full-time resident of the United States

Nice To Haves

• Preference for Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry, post-graduate fellowship in psychiatry, or other academic psychiatry certificate program completion, including a Doctor of Medical Science with Psychiatry concentration
• NPs and PA-Cs with an active DEA license
• NPs and PA-Cs with additional certification or clinical experience with minors
• Providers who offer in-person options

Responsibilities

• Practice comprehensive mental health medication management via a 60-minute intake appointment and regular follow-up appointments
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations, and longitudinal medication treatment
• Construct patient-centered treatment plans, document treatment recommendations, message patients, and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Provide safe, evidence-based medication treatment that follows clinical best practice guidelines
