About The Position
The Learning Experience – Newark is seeking a Preschool Teacher to support children ages 3–5 in a structured classroom environment focused on kindergarten readiness, confidence, and social-emotional development. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy creating engaging learning experiences where children build strong early academic foundations through hands-on exploration and guided routines.
Requirements
- TECE 1 or TECE 2 required
- Must meet Delaware childcare licensing requirements
Nice To Haves
- Prior preschool or childcare classroom experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and nurturing teaching approach
Responsibilities
- Support daily preschool classroom activities and routines
- Encourage early literacy, math readiness, and classroom participation
- Create a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Guide children through learning centers, transitions, and group activities
- Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom progress
- Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership
- Follow Delaware licensing and safety requirements
