About The Position
The Learning Experience – Bristow is seeking a Preschool Teacher to support children ages 3–5 as they develop independence, confidence, and foundational academic skills in preparation for kindergarten. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy guiding young learners through structured activities that support literacy, problem-solving, and social development.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Prior preschool or childcare classroom experience required
- Strong classroom support and communication skills
- Reliable and collaborative teaching approach
- Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
Responsibilities
- Implement developmentally appropriate preschool learning activities
- Support early literacy, math readiness, and social-emotional growth
- Guide children through classroom routines and learning centers
- Maintain a clean and structured learning environment
- Communicate with families regarding classroom progress and activities
- Collaborate with teaching team members and leadership
- Ensure compliance with Virginia licensing standards
