Requirements

Knowledge of Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP).
Experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
Must meet all Connecticut state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher position.
Positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for toddlers.
Lead classroom activities while supporting children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in a manner that meets the individual needs of each child.
Serve as a positive role model and foster a growth mindset that encourages curiosity and learning.
Guide, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers within the classroom while modeling best practices.
Effectively manage classroom routines, transitions, and daily schedules.
Build strong relationships with families through regular communication regarding children's milestones, achievements, and daily experiences.
Collaborate with center leadership and fellow educators to support enrollment, family engagement, and overall center success.
Maintain compliance with all state licensing requirements and company policies.
