About The Position
The Goddard School of Broadview Heights, Ohio is seeking passionate, experienced Lead and/or Assistant Teachers to provide children with a nurturing, child-centered learning experience. The Goddard School is an industry-leading child-care center for children from six weeks to six years, encouraging development at their own pace using the proprietary Wonder of Learning curriculum. Lead Teachers, with assistance, are responsible for ensuring compliance with Health & Safety Quality Assurance standards, creating a positive learning environment, and fostering a lifelong love of learning. Weekly lesson planning time is provided outside the classroom. The school is committed to supporting teachers with a healthy work environment and fun-based learning in the classroom.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (for Assistant Teacher)
- Associates or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred (for Lead Teacher)
- CDA and Early Childhood Degree (for Lead Teacher)
- Demonstrate knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong written and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior classroom experience (Preferred, will train)
- Prior childcare experience (Preferred, will train)
- Pursuing degree (CDA and Early Childhood Degree partnerships) (for Assistant Teacher)
- Child Care Experience: 1 year (Preferred, will train)
