About The Position

LeafSpring School at Three Chopt is seeking experienced and passionate Teachers with one to two years of classroom experience who will inspire young learners in a caring, hands-on environment. Requirements

Experience working with children ages 6 weeks–5 years.
A caring, patient, and dependable personality.
Strong understanding of child development.
Ability to work as part of a team.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

1–2+ years of preschool or early childhood classroom experience preferred.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred or in progress.
CDA is a plus!
Experience leading or mentoring other teachers is a plus.
Bring energy and enthusiasm to the classroom.

Create a structured, engaging, and nurturing environment aligned with high-quality standards (e.g., NAEYC).
Supervise and mentor Assistant Teachers and Aides, modeling effective teaching strategies and classroom routines.
Ensure all activities and classroom practices comply with Virginia state licensing standards.
