About The Position
The Learning Experience – Cascade is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher to support children in a structured early learning environment focused on kindergarten readiness, confidence, and social-emotional development. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy creating engaging classroom experiences where children build independence, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong love of learning.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior preschool or childcare classroom experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
Responsibilities
- Support daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities
- Implement developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage early literacy and math readiness
- Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Guide children through classroom transitions, learning centers, and group activities
- Encourage positive social interaction and classroom participation
- Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom progress and activities
- Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership
- Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies
