About The Position

Preschool Teacher Position Available: August 2026. This is a full-time position for the M-TH AM Session at the Grandville Education Center / Early Learning Center for the School Year.

Requirements

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate (a) a ZA or ZS endorsement, (b) a ZN or ZO endorsement, or (c) a bachelor’s degree in child development with specialization in preschool teaching
• Experience working with preschool students ages 3-5
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of child development
• Submission of a negative Tuberculosis test
• Completion of fingerprinting in accordance with Michigan State Licensing requirements for background checks as well as MDE for school employment.

• Passion for early childhood education and commitment to fostering a love of learning
• Familiarity with Michigan’s Early Childhood Standards of Quality
• Familiarity with Michigan’s state licensing rules for child care centers (LARA)
• First Aid, CPR, and AED training (or willingness to be trained)
