About The Position
Join HAPPY Early Childhood Academic childcare center as a Lead Teacher, supporting children from infancy through preschool. The center focuses on making early education and daycare joyful, engaging, and fun so children can learn, play, and grow. The teacher creates age-appropriate learning experiences, maintains safe and organized classrooms, monitors children's development, communicates with families, and collaborates with other teachers. Must be available to work until 6:30 PM Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, plus 12 college units in Early Childhood Education.
- At least 18 years of age.
- At least 2 years of experience as a lead teacher within a childcare center.
- Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
- Availability to work until 6:30 PM Monday through Friday.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Execute engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized classrooms where children can explore and learn.
- Understand key developmental milestones and celebrate children's progress.
- Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
