About The Position
The Learning Experience – Beltline is seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to lead and support a classroom of preschool-aged children in a structured, engaging early learning environment. This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys guiding children through early academics, social development, and school-readiness skills. Our preschool program focuses on hands-on learning, positive guidance, and consistent routines that help children build confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing and background requirements
- Reliable, positive, and team-oriented
Nice To Haves
- Preschool, daycare, or childcare experience preferred
- Early childhood coursework or degree a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead daily preschool classroom activities in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment
- Implement age-appropriate lessons aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
- Support early literacy, math foundations, problem-solving, and social-emotional growth
- Maintain structured classroom routines, transitions, and learning centers
- Observe and support children’s developmental progress
- Communicate regularly with families about classroom activities and milestones
- Collaborate with teaching teams and leadership to meet licensing and school standards
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom and follow health and safety guidelines
