About The Position
The Learning Experience – Billerica is seeking a passionate and nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our growing early childhood education team. This role focuses on helping children ages 3–5 build confidence, independence, and kindergarten readiness skills through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Our Preschool Teachers create safe, welcoming classrooms where children learn through exploration, creativity, and meaningful relationships.
Requirements
- Massachusetts EEC Preschool Teacher certification required or ability to qualify
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practice
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous preschool or childcare classroom experience preferred
- Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities
- Implement developmentally appropriate lessons using The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Support children's social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development
- Create a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Guide children through learning centers, group activities, and daily transitions
- Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication and updates
- Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership to maintain classroom excellence
- Ensure compliance with Massachusetts EEC regulations and center policies
