About The Position
The Learning Experience – River Vale is seeking a dependable Preschool Teacher to support a structured classroom serving children ages 3–5. This role focuses on helping children build confidence, independence, and early academic skills through engaging daily routines and hands-on learning experiences. This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working in a collaborative teaching environment and supporting children as they prepare for kindergarten readiness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
Nice To Haves
- Prior preschool or childcare experience preferred
- Strong classroom support and communication skills
- Reliable and team-oriented approach to teaching
Responsibilities
- Implement developmentally appropriate classroom activities for preschool-aged children
- Support early literacy, math readiness, and social-emotional development
- Guide children through daily routines including learning centers, meals, and rest time
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom activities and progress
- Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership
- Follow all New Jersey childcare licensing requirements and center policies
