About The Position

Early Care and Education is a locally owned and operated, nationally accredited preschool program dedicated to raising the bar in early childhood education. Our mission is to create a preschool and after-school program that exceeds state and national standards while allowing children to thrive, explore, and learn through play. We prepare children not only to excel academically but also to develop a lifelong love of learning. We are seeking enthusiastic and caring teachers who can serve as positive role models for our infants, preschool-aged children, and elementary-aged students in our after-school program, STEM Station. We are specifically looking for Pre-K support teachers to join our Pre-K program and help close these programs.

Requirements

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
Valid Texas driver’s license and willingness to drive a mini bus (after-school teachers only)
Experience working with young children
Ability to bend, stoop, and run to keep up with active young children
Strong communication and interaction skills with children and parents
Compassion, respect, and patience for young children
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Valid Texas driver’s license (Required)
Ability to commute: Flower Mound, TX 75028 (Required)

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing classroom environment
Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth
Document attendance records, food program compliance, developmental milestones, accident reports, and daily communication with parents
Use positive guidance techniques through the implementation of Conscious Discipline
Collaborate respectfully and professionally with other team members to ensure the success of the children and the school family
