Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education with P-3 teaching certification (required)
  • Experience working with young children (required)
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds independently without assistance

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years' experience in early childhood education and direct experience with at-risk populations (preferred)
  • Head Start Experience (preferred)
  • compassionate, organized, flexible, communicator and a team player

Responsibilities

  • Implement Pre-K curriculum
  • Implement Head Start Program Performance Standards
  • Collaborate with the Phillipsburg School District ECLC program
  • Supervision of children
  • Lesson Planning to enhance school readiness skills
  • Implement screenings and assessments and data entry
  • Facilitate family partnership
