About The Position

The Queen of All Saints Pre-School Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing a safe, nurturing, faith-centered, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children enrolled in the pre-school. The Teacher provides classroom leadership, supports children’s academic and social-emotional growth, and models Catholic values through daily interactions and instruction.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education practices.
Ability to create engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and administration.
Commitment to supporting the mission and values of the Catholic Church

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
Previous experience teaching or leading in a preschool, daycare, or early childhood setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with early childhood learning standards and the mission of the Queen of All Saints School.
Create a positive, welcoming, and Christ-centered classroom environment.
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
Foster children’s spiritual, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Lead classroom routines including circle time, learning centers, meals, rest time, and transitions.
Maintain classroom discipline using positive behavior guidance techniques.
Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities.
Supervise and direct Teacher Aides and classroom volunteers as assigned.
Maintain accurate attendance, incident, and developmental records.
Ensure classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with licensing and diocesan requirements.
Participate in prayer, religious instruction, and Catholic celebrations appropriate for young children.
Attend required staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Follow all Queen of All Saints policies, diocesan guidelines, health regulations, and safety procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the QAS Principal.
