About The Position
Primrose School of Redmond is an accredited private preschool that provides premier educational child care experience. We offer year-round programs for children from infant through elementary-aged school age. As a Preschool teacher at the Primrose School of Redmond, you will be able to create an innovative and exploratory learning environment for children.
Requirements
- A full time teacher with classroom management experience
- Must meet basic requirements of the local child care regulatory agency.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
- Clear Background Check.
- Star Hours-30 /CPR training.
Nice To Haves
- Certification or degree related to early childhood will be preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implementation of our well researched curriculum which provides daily lesson plans.
- Create a stimulating and nurturing environment that supports children's learning styles and interests.
- Assess children's learning needs and progress.
- Communicate with parents about their child's development and encourage their involvement in the program.
- Model appropriate behavior and support children's social and emotional development.
- Keep records of children's progress, routines, and interests.
- Nurture the social-emotional development of children.
