About The Position

Natural Choice Academy is seeking passionate Preschool Teachers to foster social and emotional development in young children through play. Our approach is founded on social-emotional learning, messy play, and providing a loving and safe environment. Join a team dedicated to helping children reach their full potential. We offer consistent weekly hours, stable classrooms without shuffling children, and strong administrative support. Assistant Teachers start at $18.00/hr, Teachers with 6+ months of experience earn $19.00/hr, and Senior Teachers with 2 years of experience earn $20.90/hr. This is a full-time position with a schedule that may be midshift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) or closing (9:15 AM - 6:15 PM).

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years old.
Minimum 6 months’ experience as a preschool teacher or in a licensed daycare.
Flexible and ready to shine during business hours.

Nice To Haves

Child Development Associate (CDA) or college degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.

Responsibilities

Provide social/emotional, physical, cognitive support for a class of up to 22 students.
Ensure the health and safety of the children in your care.
Follow all State licensing guidelines.
Maintain a clean classroom with prompt attention to child needs.
Be able to lift and carry children.
Complete daily care sheets.
Assist with curriculum delivery.
Work cooperatively and respectfully with all team members.
