About The Position
The Preschool Teacher is a part-time position responsible for supporting preschool classrooms serving children 2–5 years old. This role helps create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that encourages children's social-emotional development, independence, and positive interactions with peers. The Preschool Teacher also assists in facilitating age-appropriate activities that foster children's creativity, curiosity, and overall development. This position is to be an on-call substitute teacher for our Preschool Program starting on September 14th, 2026 and ending on May 21st, 2027.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Previous experience working with preschool aged children required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Education/Early Childhood, or related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Supporting teachers with classroom activities, play-based learning, and hands-on experiences
- Assisting with daily classroom routines, including arrival, transitions, snack time, and dismissal
- Supervising children to help maintain a safe and positive learning environment
- Following established classroom routines, program guidelines, and health and safety procedures
